Come along, get involved,
and see what we can create together!
Ariam Shed is a community workshop where old furniture gets a new life and local residents get hands-on skills, creativity, and connection. Join our upcycling sessions to repair, repurpose, and reinvent discarded items, all while having fun, learning new techniques, and helping the environment.
Open to everyone, our workshops are about more than furniture: they’re a space for creativity, wellbeing, and building a stronger, connected community.
Projects vary from week to week and include furniture upcycling, creative builds, and practical repairs. Early projects include an upcycled pinball machine, alongside a range of furniture and object transformations.
You can choose to work on your own project or join one of ours.
No experience is needed — just come along and get involved.
Every Friday, 10am to 5pm.
You’re welcome to drop in for a few hours or stay for the whole day.

Every year, thousands of tonnes of furniture are discarded in the UK. Upcycling keeps materials in use longer, reduces carbon emissions, and builds local resilience.
But just as important: making things together improves wellbeing. Ariam Shed is about practical action and human connection.
