But at the Rollright Festival, something different happened. Guillaume d’Arjuzon (co-founder of Ariam world and the Rubbish Side Show) and artist Amos Shein built a towering rabbit sculpture entirely from scrap wood. It was joyful, surreal, and full of character.
As its name suggests, this sculpture was never meant to last. At the end of the festival, it was set on fire in a cathartic celebration of creativity and impermanence.
Some things are thrown away and forgotten. At Ariam, we don’t just rescue materials; we continue their story. Burn the Rabbit reminds us that even when something disappears, its story can live on. It's still a choice: abandon or transform.
